In this webinar, hosted by DON’s National Curriculum Council, we invite educators interested in amplifying indigenous voices in their classrooms to engage in conversation to make their classrooms a safe space for indigenous voices.

Our panelists, indigenous students and education advocates, will share their experiences with the education system and share concrete ways to honor indigenous voices, especially when the educator is not of indigenous background and the classroom has little-to-no indigenous student representation.

The goal of our webinar is to uplift Indigenous students' voices and allow them to share their experiences in education systems that often ignore Indigenous culture and knowledge.
