Exploring the Intersections of LGBTQ+ & Immigrant Narratives is a presentation that touches on the complexities surrounding the queer immigrant identity. Starting from the history of LGBTQ+ movements in America, moving into the various phenomena related to the immigrant experience, and ending with long-term outcomes related to the various stressors associated with the LGBTQ+ immigrant identity, this webinar aims to provide visibility to a historically underrepresented group of people. Various panelists of immigrant backgrounds who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community also share their personal experiences and answer commonly asked questions.
