Analyzing Queer Dance

In this lesson, students will:

  1. Understand the various usages of dance as a tool for queer activism.

  2. Analyze multiple dance performances to connect movement with storytelling.

  3. Synthesize themes covered in dance to relay it to global issues and universal topics.

  4. Engage in a Socratic Seminar to encourage critical thinking and discussion surrounding the depths of unique body of works.
